Day 1.
Arrival, Airport Pick-up & Check-Inn.

Overnight at African Regent hotel in Accra.
Day 2. Approximately 5.5 hours drive to Kumasi.
Kente Weaving & Adinkra Stamping.
8:30 am visit an Asante traditional village. Take a tour of the village seeing the kente craftsmen weaving pieces of kente cloths with their wooden looms.
Overnight at Ridge Condos Hotel in Kumasi.
Day 3.
Ashanti Cultural Tour.
Visit one of the oldest remaining shrines of the Asante kingdom. Learn about the formation of Asante kingdom and inheritance. See the healing site proposed by Okomfo Anokye.

Day 4. Approximately 5 hours drive to Cape Coast.
Slave River & Dungeons Tour.
Experience how slave captives were made to take their last bath before transported to the America’s. Visit the Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as one of the largest slave holding sites during the infamous Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.

Day 5. Approximately 4 hours drive to Benyin.
Nzulenzu Stilt Village.
Early morning visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Nzulenzu Stilt Village in Amansuri Wetlands. An Architecturally fascinating and unique village accessible by a canoe ride only.
Overnight at Lemon Beach Resort in Elmina.
Day 6.
Elmina Castle & Drumming & Dance.
Walk through the slave dungeons of the St. Georges castle, built by the Portuguese in 1482. Participate in a coastal drumming and dancing cultural performance.

Day 7. Approximately 3.5 hours drive to Accra.
Canopy-walkway @ Kakum National Park.
9:00 am visit a tropical rain forest of an area of about 375 square kilometers notable for nature and wildlife. Hike the Canopy Walkway suspended between 11-40 meters high above sea level and 350 meters long. Experience nature and the beautiful view of the forest in a secured series of nets and wires.

Day 8. Approximately 2.5 hours drive from Accra.
Shai Hills Resource Reserve, Bead Factory & Waterfalls.
8:00 am depart for Shai Hills Resource Reserve, a 50 kilometers square near Accra. Tour through the reserve to see baboons, fenced ostrich & zebras. Take a nice view of the nearby surroundings standing on the table-like rock.

Day 9.
Accra City Tour.
9:00 visit Independence Square, built to commemorate Ghana’s independence celebration. Continue to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Mausoleum, dedicated to Kwame Nkrumah for his struggle for Ghana’s independence. Walk through Jamestown neighborhood to experience local life.

Day 10.
Art & Craft Markets in Accra.
Visit some of Accra’s vibrant crafts market to shop for souvenirs. Drop off at Kotoka International Airport.
