Visit Elmina Castle, an oldest colonial castle in the Sub-Saharan African built by the Portuguese in 1482,
later became one of the most important stops on the route of the infamous Trans Atlantic Slave Trade. Continue to the Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as one of the largest slave-holding sites during the infamous Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.
