Day 2. 25th July, 2027.
Accra City Tour.
8:30 am pick up, take a guided tour of the Du Bois museum and listen to history of the Father of Modern Pan-Africanism. Visit Independence Square, built to commemorate Ghana’s independence celebrations. Continue to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Mausoleum, dedicated to Kwame Nkrumah for his struggle for Ghana’s independence. Visit Jamestown neighborhood to experience local life.

Day 3. 26th July, 2027. Approximately 2 hours drive from Accra.
Nkyinkyim Museum & African Ancestral Wall.
8:00 am visit a famous art museum where a local artist narrates the African stories with sculpture heads. Learn about the Ghanaian indigenous system through art. Stop at another interesting destination where our African heroes are painted on walls telling stories of their heroism.

Day 4. 27th July, 2027. Approximately 5.5 hours drive to Kumasi.
Manhyia Palace Museum & Okomfo Anokye Sword Site.
Depart Accra to Kumasi after breakfast. Visit Manhyia Palace Museum, residence of past Asante kings and learn about Asante heritage. Continue to the Okomfo Anokye sword site buried into the ground about 300 years ago. Learn about the formation of the Asante kingdom.

Day 5. 28th July, 2027.
Kente Weaving, Naming Ceremony & Adinkra Stamping.
8:30 am visit an Asante traditional village. Take a tour of the village seeing the kente craftsmen weaving pieces of kente cloths with their wooden looms. Be ushered into a local family during a naming ceremony. Learn the meanings of the Akan Adinkra symbols in the kente cloths.

Day 6. 29th July, 2027. Approximately 5 hours drive to Elmina.
Cape Coast Castle & Door of Return Ceremony.
8:00 am depart Kumasi to Cape Coast. Visit the Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as one of the largest slave holding sites during the infamous Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.
Overnight at Lemon Beach Resort in Elmina.
Day 7. 30th July, 2027.
Canopy-walkway @ Kakum National Park & Elmina Castle.
8:30 am visit Kakum National Park, a tropical rain forest of an area of about 375 square kilometers notable for nature and wildlife. Hike the Canopy Walkway suspended between 11-40 meters high above sea level and 350 meters long. Experience nature and the beautiful view of the forest in a secured series of nets and wires. Walk through the slave dungeons of the St. Georges castle, the oldest colonial building in the Sub-Saharan African, built by the Portuguese in 1482.

Day 8. 31st July, 2027.
Reverential Night.
Morning relaxing at your place of stay. In the evening take part in the reverential night with a candle light. And wreath laying to honour all lost souls during the infamous slave trade.

Day 9. 1st August, 2027. Approximately 3.5 Hours drive to Accra.
Emancipation Day.
Participate in the emancipation ceremony at the Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Site. Walk to the slave river where slave were allowed to take their last bath before taking to slave castle for sale. Join the chiefs in their traditional prayers and ceremony at the river site.

Day 10. 2nd August, 2027.
Accra Craft Market.
Take a last minute shopping of souvenirs in the city of Accra. Drop off at the Kotoka International Airport.
