 Day 1.

Adanwomase Kente & Ntonso Adinkra Stamping Villages.

6:00AM pick up in a private air-conditioned vehicle at location of your choice within Accra. Depart to Kumasi capital town of the Ashanti Region. Visit Adanwomase a kente weaving village. Take a tour of the village seeing the kente craftsmen weaving pieces of kente cloths with their wooden looms. Continue to Ntonso an adinkra cloth stamping village. See and learn the various stages of adinkra production.

Overnight at kumasi.

Day 2.

Prempeh II Jubilee Museum, Okomfo Anokye Sword Site & Manhyia Palace Museum.

Visit National Cultural Center a few meters away from the Kejetia market. Tour Prempeh II Jubilee Museum, which provides a fascinating collection of Asante history and treasures. Visit the Okomfo Anokye Sword Site to make a sightseeing of the sword Okomfo Anokye buried into the ground about 300 years ago, exact place where Okomfo Anokye conjured the Golden stool unto the laps of king Osei tutu I, founder of Asante Kingdom. Visit Kejetia market, the largest outdoor market in West Africa. Continue to the Manhyia Palace, an official seat and former residence of the Asantehene. Learn about the history of the Asante kingdom including the royal lineage, rituals and the struggles for Asante unity.

Day 3.

Boti Waterfalls, Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm & Aburi Botanical Gardens.

Morning travel to Boti waterfalls in the Manya Krobo district of the Eastern Region of Ghana. Hike the rocky Boti Forest Reserve to the mysterious Umbrella Rock and the 3-Headed Palm Tree. Get to know history of the Prayer Rock, the Tree on Rock and the Sound Cave. Refresh at the Boti twin waterfalls and enjoy their scenic flow to the ground. Stop at a cocoa farm to see the birthplace and first cocoa farm of Ghana’s flourishing cocoa industry. Continue to Aburi Botanical Gardens. Visit the famous ficus tree, remains of the first helicopter in Ghana and the carved tree narrating our worldly life journey. Learn about the different species of plants and their medicinal uses.
