Traditional Naming Ceremony & Kente Weaving Village.
6:00 Am depart from Accra to one of Ashanti’s culture rich villages renowned for kente weaving and cocoa growing. Tour the kente weaving site and learn how kente is traditionally made. Then, be dress in a beautiful traditional kente to undertake your traditional naming ceremony where you are given a new local name that belongs you to a family of the community.

Day 2.
Okomfo Anokye Sword Site & Manhyia Museum.
Visit the Okomfo Anokye Sword Site to make a sightseeing of the sword Okomfo Anokye buried into the ground about 300 years ago, exact place where Okomfo Anokye conjured the Golden stool unto the laps of king Osei tutu I, founder of Ashanti Kingdom. Visit Manhyia Palace, an official seat and former residence of the Asantehene. Learn about the history of the Asante kingdom including the royal lineage, rituals and the struggles for Asante unity. Return to Accra.
